Founder
Founder of La Luz, Elyce Chau, was born in a Chef's family. Elyce has over 10 years F&B experiences. From a chef to a barista. She had worked in several brand hotels (including Hong Kong Disneyland, The Oyster and Wine Bar at Sheraton Hotel) as well as specialty coffee shops over Hong Kong and Australia.
Within life studying and working in Brisbane for 7 years, she achieved "Certificate III of Commercial Cookery", "Diploma of Hospitality Managment", "Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics" and " Miss Congeniality - TVBA Miss Australia Chinese Pageant 2015".
With her passion for connecting people through coffee and languages. Elyce set "COFFEE IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE" as the aim of LA LUZ and would like to brighten up your day at a corner at Ferry Point! :)

"La Luz" means "the light" in Spanish. We believe that anywhere with light there is hope. We dedicate to boost and brighten your day up along with our passion for specialty coffee, and we hope our guests leave our door with a refreshed mind :)
We are a local coffee shop in Jordan, Hong Kong. La Luz takes great pride in supporting and representing coffee communities in Australia. We are the first and only coffee shop serving Brisbane Coffee (by Parallel Roasters) in Hong Kong. ​
